Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field strongly preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a distribution or manufacturing environment - Proven track record of managing and directing outbound logistics operations - Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS) - Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills - Ability to develop and maintain relationships with shipping carriers and logistics service providers - Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to logistics and shipping - Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring departmental costs - Ability to analyze data and provide insights into logistics processes - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma is a plus - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, if necessary - Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - CPR and first aid certification is preferred - Bilingual English/Spanish required - Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
