Warehouse Lead
Location: Hamilton, NJ
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Position Summary
Our client, a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider in Hamilton, NJ, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and provide leadership to warehouse associates in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong operational knowledge, proven supervisory experience, and the ability to foster productive client relationships while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse associates while promoting a positive and safety-focused work environment.
- Monitor workflow and allocate resources to meet operational and customer service objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives and internal management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Assist with inventory control, quality standards, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers, as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse operations experience; 3PL experience preferred.
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
- Experience operating stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers is required.
- Turret truck experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
